Guild Wars Nightfall Review

With an absence of monthly fees, stand-alone campaigns, and a unique skill system, the Guild Wars series is a notable departure from the norm for online RPGs. In fact, it departs with so many conventions it's difficult to pin the game down. Although the developers don't call it a MMORPG, it is often classified as such, and it does feel like one at times. So far they have released Prophecies (the original game), Factions, and Nightfall. This time you must save Elona from Warmarshel Varesh, who intends to awaken a long-forgotten god that will plunge the lands into an epic apocalypse.

Blizzard has once again rasied the bar

Does World of Warcraft's abbreviation "WoW" the true definition of 'WOW!'? But of course. World of Warcraft simply raised the status bar on massively multiplayer online role playing games. I really haven't been this addicted to an online game since Warcraft 3 (the strategy game). It simply is spectacular at every aspect in every possible way. It's truly a must own title for any PC gamer out there even if your "hardcore" or a "casual", this title is for you.

The redefining point in online gaming

I was always a fond fan of the WarCraft series, or any game by Blizzard for that matter. But who wouldn't be a fan of Blizzard? They've blasted their way to the top with some kick-butt titles over the years( StarCraft, Diablo II, WarCraft III), so there is always going to be masses of respect held for the company.

A great game held back by Blizzard's lack of ambition

I have been playing WoW since beta, and just recently quit the game for good. I have multiple level 60s, both Horde and Alliance, on PvP and PvE servers. The game is a blast from level 1 all the way through 60. It is the easiest MMORPG to date to reach the maximum level in. The "rested experience" received from logging off in an Inn is great for casual players. Depending on how long they were offline, they will receive twice the amount of experience per kill for a while.

World of Warcraft, World of Fun

From the moment the player begins playing, they soon realize the game has a very small learning curve, meaning even the most casual of gamers can learn the ropes in a matter of minutes. As a MMORPG ,the game features an immense quest system from which the player can pick and choose quests at his/her bidding.

Excelent Money Drainer

World of Warcraft they say it's the best MMORPG for 2005 but how does it really rank up? From the makers of games such as Starcraft and Diablo II Blizzard presented World of Warcraft to be there best game yet. I did not choose to buy it right a way considering you had to pay per month to play it. I was one of those people who thought you shouldn't have to pay to play a game when you already have purchased it. Finally after a few months after it had been out I decided I might as well give it a shoot, maybe it really was that good.
